No investigation, no issue - Nandor
Green MP Nandor Tanczos today said that contrary to a report in the Sunday Star Times today the Ministry of Health has not started a new inquiry into energy supplements sold throughout New Zealand and the rest of the world.
"There is no issue here. Having one of these supplements is similar to having some 'V' or a decent coffee.
"But just as I don't think children should be sold high caffeine energy drinks, the Hempstore has always had a voluntary R-18 restriction on these supplements," said Nandor.
"Of course if the Health Ministry didn't think they should be on sale we wouldn't sell them.
"Isn't it ironic that the so-called pro-business Act party somehow think we are doing something wrong for selling a completely legal product, that harms nobody, in a very responsible manner."
