Referee Needed At Auckland DHB
An independent mediator should be appointed to liase between Auckland District Health Board doctors and their chairman Wayne Brown, National Health Spokesperson Dr Lynda Scott said today.
"The clash between doctors and the chairman of the board is destroying morale. I am concerned for patients and services as this public dispute continues.
"Health Minister Annette King can't sit by while health professionals and their chair fight in public. The Minister should now appoint an independent facilitator to rectify the problems between Mr Brown and staff. By not taking an interest in these concerning developments at Auckland District Health Board she is endorsing a very public dispute," Dr Scott said
