Great come back by Tall Blacks
National Leader Bill English today congratulated the Tall Blacks for their great win against Russia today in their first
game at the 2002 World Basketball Championships.
"This amazing comeback after the team was well behind from early on in the game showed their courage and skill.
"The Tall Blacks went away a good team and they are becoming a great team.
"I wish the team well in their next games and I know New Zealanders will be watching with interest after this great
start in the champs," Mr English said.
