Give Waitakere Electorate A Break
National MP Marie Hasler has asked her rivals to give Waitakere voters a break - to stop harassing them with tiresome, tactical ‘advice’ and let electors think for themselves.
"Waitakere voters are being asked yet again to believe privately commissioned polls which completely contradict each other.
"According to these ‘expert and independent’ polling organisations, done by a candidate’s own trade union in one case and her husband in the other, their respective candidates are well out in front. What a surprise! They have, in effect, revolutionised statistics and destroyed polling credibility in one week.
“Amazingly, significant leads are being reversed overnight!” said Ms Hasler.
