Sign up a non-voter now, Nandor challenges
Green MP Nandor Tanczos is continuing the Green 'Get On The Roll' campaign by challenging enrolled voters to find one person who is not enrolled to vote and sign them up.
"This election is going to decide some really important issues such as whether New Zealand keeps or loses our GE-Free environment. Everybody who wants New Zealand's environment to stay GE-Free simply must vote in this election," said Nandor.
"I am asking all those people who have signed up to vote to find one friend, colleague or family member who is not enrolled and to get them on the roll."
Nandor said people could quickly and easily enrol through calling Call 0800 ENROL NOW (0800 36 76 56) or by visiting www.elections.org.nz http://www.elections.org.nz
"With the early election people now have until next Tuesday, June 25, to get on the roll," said Nandor.
"You can still vote if you are not on the published roll, using a special vote. People can enrol right up to the day before the election. But don't depend on that. Special votes are more complicated and there were heaps of disqualifications last time. Enrol now!"
