National will re-run a referendum on MMP before the next election, National Leader Bill English said today.
"People are worried about MMP, which is why our policy is that an incoming National Government will re-run the MMP referendum.
"This election is not about MMP. It is about the real issues directly affecting New Zealanders, and they are putting teachers in front of classrooms, dealing with law and order and a vision for growth so that all families are better off.
"Instead of talking about issues that matter to families, Helen Clark spends her time on how she can get absolute power," Mr English said.
