Sowry- Anderton Must Be Stripped Of Perks Now

An outrageous misuse of ministerial resources is how Deputy National Party Leader Roger Sowry describes Jim Anderton continuing to get all the perks while finally admitting to joining a political party that is not part of the Government Coalition.
"Jim Anderton's announcement today that he has joined the Progressive Coalition Party means that if Helen Clark had a shred of integrity left she must strip Anderton of his office and trappings.
" Taxpayers will not be impressed by someone who has so blatantly flaunted the party hopping legislation that will see Anderton continuing to get services such as chauffeured cars, and a large staff contingent.
"This farce must be stopped and the only person who can do that is Helen Clark," says Mr Sowry
