Green Co-Leader to visit Karamea, Westport & Reefton
Green co-leader Rod Donald will be visiting Buller from Wednesday 5th until Friday 7th of June.
The main purpose of Mr Donald's visit will be to speak at a public meeting in Westport on Thursday 6 June at 2pm organised by Buller GreyPower. His address will focus on why Labour's superannuation fund is risky and what the Greens would do to strengthen the economy to pay for the growing number of superannuitants.
Mr Donald will also speak to senior students at Karamea Area School on "Democracy Use it or Lose it".
He is available for media interviews, which can be fitted around the timetable below.
Wednesday 1.35pm Visit True Blue Organics - Karamea 3.30pm - onwards Visit the Limestone Arches & Heaphy Track (collecting signatures to stop the proposed road through the Heaphy)
Thursday 8.45am Speaking at Karamea Area School 2pm Speaking at Buller GreyPower, public meeting - Westport 7pm Speaking at local Greens meeting in Westport
