“It has become fashionable for budgets to talk only of social expenditure, New Zealand First agriculture spokesman Doug Woolerton said.
“This Government has taken this trend to new heights with a focus on the politically correct and the marginal. The real drivers of our economy were not mentioned by the Finance Minister. There was no recognition at all. While the Government reflects in the glow of high export receipts there is no recognition of where this success comes from. This was a very sad day for our biggest exporters,” said Mr. Woolerton.
