Kedgley In Palmerston North For Political Debate, Meetings
Green MP Sue Kedgley will visit Palmerston North this Friday for a political debate at Massey University and public meetings on animal welfare issues and the Government's controversial proposals to regulate dietary supplements with a new Trans-Tasman authority.
Ms Kedgley will participate in a political debate for Massey University politics students on campus between 11am - 1pm.
Between 2 - 3pm Sue will hold a meeting at Massey's student union building on animal welfare issues including the Green and SPCA campaigns to have battery cages for hens and sow crates for pigs banned as well as GE issues.
Between 4.30 - 6pm Sue will hold a public meeting on the implications of Government plans to regulate dietary supplements in a new Trans-Tasman agency at the Science Centre, 396 Main Street.
Sue will be available for media interviews.
