First Bill Arrives For Hobbs' Charter

The taxpayer has received the first bill for Marian Hobbs' TVNZ Charter, ACT Broadcasting Spokesman MP Penny Webster said today.
"Twelve million dollars is a ridiculous amount of public money to spend putting Ms Hobbs' politically correct stamp on the State television network.
"Ms Hobbs has committed taxpayers to propping up TVNZ in perpetuity, so the state television network can meet the Minister's "spiritual" objectives. This bill is only the beginning," Mrs Webster said.
