Why did Maori TV use Millennium People?

Shareholding Ministers must explain why the Maori Television Service used Millennium People to head hunt John Davy, ACT Broadcasting Spokesman MP Penny Webster said today.
"What - or who - was the link with Millennium? What process was used to identify Millennium People as the best company for the job?
"It was obvious that this appointment would be under intense scrutiny. It seems incredibly odd that the Board used a new firm with little experience.
"It is apparent Millennium People did not have the resources to check Mr Davy's extensive CV, as a larger firm would have. Such a failure suggests there was another reason for using Millennium People.
"Instead of blaming the recruitment agency, the Ministers must tell us why that company was hired in the first place. In this case, common sense would have dictated using an internationally recognised firm," Mrs Webster said.
