2000/01 Financial Review Of New Zealand Post Ltd

Media release – Finance and Expenditure Committee
The Finance and Expenditure Committee presented its report on the 2000/01 financial review of New Zealand Post Limited today.
The report notes New Zealand Post reported a net surplus of approximately $21 million for the year ending 30 June 2001. The main areas of interest for the committee were the establishment of Kiwibank and the activities of Transend, New Zealand Post’s international subsidiary.
