Board appointments for NZOA and RNZ
Broadcasting Minister Marian Hobbs has announced three board appointments to two public broadcasting organisations.
Broadcaster, television dramatist and media trainer, Judy Callingham, has been appointed to a three-year term on New Zealand on Air, the broadcasting commission which funds local content. Ms Callingham replaces Louise Rosson of Dunedin whose term expired on December 31.
Wellington lawyer and former radio and television broadcaster, Judith Fyfe, replaces Richard Rayner on the Radio New Zealand Board. Former Napier Mayor, Alan Dick, will join the RNZ board when Denis Dutton of Christchurch, completes his term on March 31, 2002. The terms are for three years.
