Appointment of High Court Judge
Attorney-General Margaret Wilson announced today the appointment of Rhys Harrison QC as a Judge of the High Court.
Mr Harrison graduated from Auckland University and practiced with solicitors in Auckland, becoming a partner, first with Haddow & Co and later with McElroy Milne & Milne Meek.
He went into practice as a Barrister in 1987 and was appointed a Queen’s Counsel in 1994.
Mr Harrison has a wide civil practice and is also a member of the panel of prosecutors for the Serious Fraud Office.
The new judge will sit in Auckland.
