Commerce Commission Draft Report On Airport Activity
The Commerce Commission's report on airfield activities is a preliminary one and submissions are now being called for on its recommendations.
Commerce Minister Paul Swain said that the inquiry was called for by the previous National Government.
"The Commerce Commission will be making its final recommendations to me by November 2nd after the submission process," Paul Swain said.
"It's important to stress that this is a preliminary report and may or may not represent the final view of the Commission itself. In the end of course it is up to the government to decide whether any final recommendations are pursued or not.”
Paul Swain encouraged interested parties to make submissions to the Commerce Commission on the draft report by August 10th.
