These ‘Hiccups’ Are Fatal

ACT Education Spokesman MP Donna Awatere Huata today slated Education Minister Trevor Mallard for punishing parents who want the best deal for their children.
“The Minister is only interested in concealing the fact that his zoning system has created a mess. He’s making parents into scapegoats.
“Punishing parents for wanting to send their kids to a decent school is a bizarre position for a Minister of Education.
“Mr Mallard described the school zoning system yesterday as having ‘hiccups’. That’s an understatement. The problem is more like gastroenteritis.
“I will continue to urge parents to fight for the best deal for their children. And I will also continue to fight until school zoning is repealed.
