Launch Of Incubator Support Programme Friday

Pete Hodgson, Minister for Small Business, is announcing a support programme for business incubators tomorrow in Dunedin.
Incubators are facilities set up to help entrepreneurs and new businesses through their start-up and early stages of development. Typically they provide work space and a range of support services.
Established examples include Unitec's Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Massey University's eCentre at the Albany campus, Victoria University's Innovation Greenhouse, the Canterbury Innovation Incubator and Otago University's Innovation Centre.
The support programme will be announced at:
1.15pm, Friday 27 April 2001 St David's Street Lecture Theatre One Otago University Dunedin
Mr Hodgson will be shown through the Otago Innovation Centre after the announcement. The centre, which is under construction, is across the road from the lecture theatre.
