Sir Michael And Lady Hardie Boys Receive QSOs

Prime Minister Helen Clark announced today that retiring Governor-General Sir Michael Hardie Boys and Lady Hardie Boys have been appointed to the Queen’s Service Order in recognition of their services during the last five years.
The announcement was made at the state farewell for Sir Michael at Parliament.
Helen Clark presented the insignia of a Companion of The Queen’s Service Order for Community Service (QSO) to Lady Hardie Boys, and the insignia of a Companion of the Order for Public Services (QSO) to Sir Michael.
