ITEM ON MPS’ PAY, ALLOWANCES AND ‘PERKS’
We are conducting a survey of TVNZ journalists, commentators, and indeed other staff on a similar matter.
1. Would you please state what your annual salary is?
2. Are you paid an annual or term bonus?, If so what?
3. What are the night allowances covered by TVNZ when you are travelling?
a) in New Zealand
b) Abroad
4. Please advise as to how these allowances are calculated
5. In addition are you paid
a) Overnight allowances
b) Day allowances
6. Are you paid a travel allowance when you use your own vehicle? If so how is this calculated?
7. Are you paid a clothing allowance, if so what, either for a term or annually?
8. Are you paid a make up allowance, if so what, and to what effect?
9. Is there any other remunerative amount, ‘perk’, or ‘freebie’, which is either enjoyed by you and/or your colleagues.
I would appreciate if you could please provide details as soon as possible.
