First Meeting On Wood Processing Strategy
Thursday 25 January
Deputy Prime Minister Jim Anderton is chairing the first meeting of a steering group to look at New Zealand's wood processing strategy.
The group is part of the industry and regional development strategy of the Labour Alliance Government's jobs machine, and follows the Government's meetings with business leaders.
The group will consist of a number of key industry players who will discuss and assess key issues relating to the industry.
After the meeting there will be informal discussion and a barbeque.
