Act, where there is no procedure for employers to obtain court injunctions against unions seeking to prevent New
Zealanders from carrying out their lawful activities,” he said.
“This law was passed with the active support of the Greens. It is a matter of concern to read media reports that two
Green MPs have participated in the pickets attempting to prevent a group of New Zealand workers from carrying out lawful
activities.
“It's important that members of Parliament, especially those who actually voted for the law, to then uphold it. Sue
Bradford and Keith Locke should make up their minds. If they want to be MPs accepting the pay and the perks they should
realise that they represent every New Zealander and if they don't they should resign and go back to their former
occupation of being full-time political stirrers,” Hon Richard Prebble said.
