Loss Of Wellington Conservationist A Loss For New Zealand
Green Party MP Jeanette Fitzsimons today said the death of Wellington conservationist Bing Lucas was a major loss to conservation in New Zealand.
"I worked with Bing during my involvement in the Environment Council during the late 1980's and I admired his practical commitment to conservation long before it was fashionable," she said. "He will be greatly missed."
Ms Fitzsimons passed on her condolences to Bing's family and friends.
