Goff To Hold Talks With Australian Counterpart

Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Phil Goff will later this week hold his regular six-monthly talks with Australian Foreign Minister Alexander Downer.
The half day of talks will take place on Friday morning, 15 December, at Copthorne Resort, Waitangi, Bay of Islands. The discussions will include current bilateral issues and regional political/security developments (eg Fiji, Solomons, Papua New Guinea/Bougainville, Indonesia/Irian Jaya and East Timor).
The Ministers will hold a joint media conference at midday on Saturday 16 December in the Cabin Room, which is on the first floor of Auckland’s Air New Zealand domestic air terminal.
