Labour Untruths About State House Sales

Before the election, Helen Clark told the people of Invercargill, and others, that Labour would stop the sale of State houses.
Yesterday Minister of Housing Mark Gosche confirmed that the Government would sell State houses.
"Mr Gosche is trying to justify this hypocrisy by saying any State house sales will not be widespread.
"It's pathetic that the Government tries to explain away breaking the Prime Minister's pledge by hiding behind weasel words.
"Most New Zealanders took the Prime Minister at her word," Mr Ryall said.
