The Minister of Pacific Island Affairs Mark Gosche congratulated boxer David Tua today.
‘New Zealanders are all very proud of what he has achieved, particularly our Samoan community,’ said Mr Gosche.
‘The whole country stopped for the fight and David has made history today no matter what.’
‘In the words of David Tua, he gave his best and that is all we can expect,’ said Mr Gosche.
