Ministerial Visit To London, Paris And Oslo

Trevor Mallard today starts a visit to London, Paris and Oslo that will cover a wide range of his portfolio areas.
Details are as follow:
Tuesday 7 November – Thursday 9 November
Visit London includes meetings with several Ministers and senior MPs in the British Parliament, education meetings and e-government meetings.
Friday 10 November – Sunday 12 November - France
Trevor Mallard will be the New Zealand Government's official representative at French National Armistice Day commemorations at Le Quesnoy and will attend the New Zealand versus France Rugby Test Match.
Other meetings include the OECD looking at public sector manager, e-government, and education issues.
Monday 13 November – Thursday 15 November - Oslo
Monday and Tuesday
Attend world Anti Doping Agency executive board meeting and foundation board meeting. (WADA)
Wednesday
Attend International Consultative Group on Anti-Doping in Sport conference
Steve Maharey will be Acting Education Minister, Lianne Dalziel will be Acting Minister for the Education Review Office, and Mark Gosche will be Acting Minister for Sport, Fitness and Leisure.
