Conviction no secret
Ruth Dyson said today that a drug-related conviction from her youth had been declared on every Labour Party nomination
form she had filled in.
She said she was convicted and fined on a charge of possession of cannabis when a teenager.
Helen Clark has long been aware of this matter.
"I find it sickening that some 25 years later someone has anonymously passed this information to journalists," Ruth
Dyson said.
