Pull yourself together Tariana
"Tariana Turia's speech to a Psychological Society Conference in Hamilton today must qualify as the most off-the-planet speech made by a politician in living memory," National MP Roger Sowry said today.
"She chose this function to rave about the effects of colonialism - comparing it to the holocaust, home-invasions and an attack by 'predators'.
"She also told us she has conversations with her spiritual guardian about the nature of 'the multiple self'.
"And she counselled the psychologists to accept Post Colonial Traumatic Stress Disorder as a recognised syndrome.
"My advice to Ms Turia is to pull herself together," Mr Sowry said.
