Open Letter To The Prime Minister Re: Governor General Appointment
Dear Prime Minister
I have been approached this afternoon by a New Zealander who called your Office and was told the Governor General’s appointment resulted from the Government consulting with all political parties and making a recommendation to the Queen.
That advice is false and I would be grateful if you would advise your staff not to mislead the public in this way.
Yours sincerely
