Crisis In Confidence

The leader of ACT, Hon Richard Prebble said the latest National Bank survey showing a huge drop in business confidence means the coalition should immediately reverse its anti-business policies such as the Employment Relations Bill, which is restoring union power.
”Drops in business confidence are very serious because they result in a fall in investment and jobs. Charm offensives won't work. Business believes that this Government is either hostile to or doesn't understand business.
“For the sake of the country I hope this survey acts as a wake-up call for the government,” said Hon Richard Prebble.
