Tonight’s Auckland traffic chaos proves the need for immediate completion of the regions roads, said ACT Transport spokesman Penny Webster.
Accidents have bought motorway traffic to a standstill on all main routes.
“Government must urgently relieve traffic stress. Auckland’s current infrastructure is woefully inadequate.
“Completion of the necessary roads will not occur without time limits. Central and local Government must start respecting road users needs.
“Road inaction means no driver satisfaction,” said Penny Webster.
