Child Asthma Plan and Symptom Diary
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20, 10am
Health Minister Annette King will launch the Child Asthma Plan and Symptom Diary at Miramar North Kindergarten, Whanganui Street, at 10am on Wednesday, 20 June.
The asthma plan and symptom diary make up a new easy-to-use resource designed to help parents, caregivers and children themselves in their management of asthma.
Mrs King says the prevalence of childhood asthma has increased worldwide over the past 20 to 30 years, and an estimated 44 percent of New Zealand children experience asthma at some stage before they are 15 years of age.
