NBR gets it wrong
"The National Business Review report today that Hugh Fletcher will lead the Government's planned review of monetary
policy is wrong," Finance Minister Michael Cullen said today.
He said the Government was still considering who should conduct the review but that Hugh Fletcher was not in contention
for the job.
"Mr Fletcher has been appointed to lead the inquiry into the telecommunications industry. That may have been where the
confusion arose," Dr Cullen said.
