BROWN CHALLENGES MINISTER TO BREAK SILENCE ON FUEL INCREASES
“The Minister of Energy, Peter Hodgson, must become more actively involved in the issue of escalating fuel prices which are now occurring with very little notice,” said New Zealand First Energy Spokesperson, Peter Brown.
“The Minister’s response to my questions in the House today clearly indicates he has far more information than he is prepared to reveal. His silence on the issue till now is treating the New Zealand motorist with contempt.
“I challenge him to publicly release the information he has, which his inaction infers may justify the price rises, not sit in silent support of the overseas oil barons,” concluded Peter Brown.
