New Zealand First Deputy Leader, Peter Brown, today expressed his outrage at the absurd assertions of a member of the Green Party.
“I take the strongest possible exception to the statement by Sue Bradford as reported in this morning’s Dominion. As I am the New Zealand First representative on the ACC Select Committee, the assertion that I was involved in “childish and vicious techniques to block the legislation” is outrageous.
“I also strongly object to being described as “quite destructive and offensive towards submitters and of accusing them of lying. As far I am concerned these allegations are totally untrue and fallacious” said Mr Brown.
“I am so incensed that I have sought legal advice and I am contemplating suing Ms Bradford for the scurrilous and unfounded comments” concluded Peter Brown.
