Green's double speak
National MP David Carter today accused the Green Party of double speak after they chose not to use their vote to achieve a semblance of proportionality on the chairmanship of Select Committees.
"The Green Party have been the voice of proportional representation for years. Today they had the chance to support proportionality for chairmanship of three select committees and they chose to keep Anderton and Clark happy instead.
"I hope the Greens will use their votes in a way more consistent with their policies and principals in the future," Mr Carter said.
