Also announced an audit to see where the money that was supposed to go to Maori has actually gone. Cullen says he is confident he can produce a better cheaper ACC scheme. Cabinet will be sworn in tomorrow.
WINSTON EMERGES: And slags off National. He says he will send National a calculator if they cannot work out the result. Peters say a recount is a waste of time and money. He says National ran a dirty campaign. National's Katherine O'Regan is applying for a recount of Winston's wafer thin majority. The returning officer is happy with his job.
RANGITIKEI: National's lead in the seat is now 293 after the final result is declared. However with 105 votes missing Labour is taking legal advice on what to do. Chief Electoral Officer Phil Whelan says that the margin is big enough that even if the votes were found - they could not make a difference. Defeated Labour candidate says he can't yet concede defeat.
JANE YOUNG LIVE: Legal advice continuing on the Rangitikei seat - this could drag on. Police have handed over their investigation to the Justice Department. OLYMPICS AND REEBOK: Reebok has pulled out of a deal to provide clothing to the Australian Olympic Team. At the heart of the row are souvenir shirts from Canterbury which have been licensed. The games now need a new $10 million sponsor. Also today the chief ticketing manager has resigned and Channel 7 has suspended Olympic advertising., citing differences.
NEW TICKET SALES: Electronic ticket vending machines installed in Warehouse branches around the country. Promoters reckon the new idea will work.
