1. TRAIN CRASH - A major investigation is underway after Australia's worst train crash in a decade. Six people are dead in New South Wales and the death toll could rise to 12.
2. WTO PROTESTS - US Police and the National Guard showed their force today after they were taken off guard by yesterday's protests in the World Trade Organisation talks in Seattle.
3. SCHOOL BAR - An elite boy's school in Christchurch has caused outrage at it's plans to install a bar fore senior pupils. The school says it will teach good drinking habits.
4. FRIGATE - New Zealand's second and last ANZAC frigate has arrived in New Zealand.
5. PLANE - An aviator has made history by piloting an ultralight plane across the Tasman.
