1. ECA - The Leader of the Alliance says any tensions between Labour and the Alliance have been resolved and they can work together. Jim Anderton says repealing the Employment Contracts Act is the priority.
2. LAKE ALICE - Lake Alice Hospital is officially closing its doors today.
3. HAWKE'S BAY - The chair of the Local Government Association says it is unlikely to revisit the issue of local body amalgamation in the Hawke's Bay after a poll rejected the idea.
4. CHURCH AGREEMENT - About 200 people from the Catholic and Lutherian churches are gathering in Palmerston North to mark the signing of an agreement that reconciles old differences.
