FEES: Canterbury students stormed their University's registry building today to try and persuade the University Council
to oppose a fee rise of up to 45 per cent. Fees could possibly rise from $3200 to $4600. The University say their
reserves are exhausted and have no choice. Students say the University should cut back on other spending and stop trying
to return a profit. The fees will be set tomorrow.
