KARLA CARDNO: Mark Middleton has been charged with threatening the life of the convicted killer and raper of Karla
Cardno. He says he is prepared to go to jail rather than recant his threats against the killer of his step-daughter.
Middleton made the threats on a TV show.
MAURI PACIFIC: Mauri Pacific Tau Henare has come up with a plan to preserve the Maori Language - compulsory lessons in
Tikanga Maori for public servants. PSA are not sure it is a good idea. The policy could cost $25 million if it cost $100
per public servant. Other parties are not impressed - Labour and National say that compulsion is not a good idea. Henare
also wants bi-lingual road signs.
