1. EAST TIMOR - A freed East Timorese independence leader says not all Indonesian military will comply with orders and may be violent. Emergency food rations have been dropped in East Timor, bad weather stopped another drop today.
2. KOSOVO - The Kosovo Liberation Army has held a rally in Pristina the day before they were due to disarm.
3. EARTHQUAKES - Rotorua residents have felt a series of small earthquakes this morning.
4. TOURISM - A NZ Tourism operator is surprised at a survey which found few Americans were satisfied with their visit to this country.
5. RWANDA - A former mayor from Rwanda has pleaded not guilty to genocide.
6. RUSSIA - Russia says it cannot confirm reports its troops had entered Chechnya.
