HOME ATTACK: A 92 year old woman was viciously beaten in an attack in her home in Paekakariki last night. Two men forced their way into the woman’s house at about 8pm, assaulted her and demanded cash. She is extremely traumatised.
TE KAHA SEES DILI: The Kiwi frigate Te Kaha sailed so close to East timor last night that sailors could see the fires burning in the city.
WATSON PREPARED FOR PRISON: The father of Scott Watson says he is glad his son has done time in prison before as it will prepare him for his rather lengthy spell this time around.
