1. JFK JUNOIR: Divers have now reportedly discovered the bodies of Lauren and Carolyn Bessette after earlier finding JFK Junior and his plane. Bodies have not yet been recovered.
2. KIWIFRUIT IN THE US: The Kiwifruit board has just announced an agreement to lift an anti-dumping order in the US which has been in place since 1992. Ironically the announcement comes on the same day that restrictions on lamb take affect.
3. RUSSIAN CAPTIVE FREED: Kiwi red-cross worker Geraldo Cruise is undergoing medical tests before returning home.
4. AUSSIE MIGRATION: Statistics NZ says 22,000 people net left to Australia in the year to June. Auckland Chamber of Commerce says it is healthy for this to happen.
5. BUSINESS CLASS BIRTHING: A private Auckland maternity hospital which is having its contract expanded rejects criticism that the expansion will have an impact on specialist services at National Women's.
6. SPANISH TERRORISM: 22 former leaders of ETA have walked free from Jail. Basque Nationalist sources now expect an extension to a truce or possibly a ceasefire.
