1. JFK JUNIOR MISSING: America Pulls Out All The Stops - Full scale search for JFK Junior is continuing but there has
been no more debris found from the plane. A suitcase and pill bottle were found yesterday. Police appeal to public to
look on the beach for debris. Divers are on standby ready to search but coastguard
2. ASSASSINATION: PM of Samoa says the police are following two definite leads in the search for the murderer of the
apparently assassinated Public Works Minister. Samoa's PM says the murderer probably had a personal motive and that it
would have been easy to know where the minister was as he published his diary. The PM also said the fact he was shot at
a ball suggested a personal reason. Diplomats say the victim was a popular figure with many friends and could not
imagine why he had been killed.
3. WINSTON SPEECH: NZ First has signalled priorities including tax incentives for exporters, a bank, lower student loan
interest rates, super increased to 67.5% of average wage, and an increase in war pensions . Winston says he will again

this morning. At the weekend came news the organisers may move Bowie and Split Enz to Auckland as sales of overseas
tickets are poor. Gisborne Mayor says he doesn't know.
7. PM IN ASIA: Mrs Shipley says the Chinese Premiere has told her the Chinese have now sorted out administrative rules
relating to wool and that New Zealand's biggest export market for wool is now open again. The PM is heading towards
Korea and Japan.
