pulled out of chasing a driver who had earlier failed a breathalyser test. Police say they couldn't have done anything

AUCKLAND DROWNING: Family and friends have farewell young Chinese girl who drowned in Auckland. The girl 12 -
disappeared in May - her body was later found washed up and a post-mortem discovered nothing suspicious. Mother of the
dead girl does not believe it was an accidental drowning however. Police say they are keeping an open mind but that
there is no evidence.
