PORT FACELIFT: The Evening Post leads tonight with a report that Wellington’s port company CentrePort will spend up to $50 million rejigging its facilities, including building new whaves, storage sheds and a fishing jetty.
THE BIG SNOW: The front page photo shows Arrowtown in a white blanket of snow an accompanying story tells how the snowfall has left Central Otago powerless.

- COCKROACHES: a report that Four central Wellington restaurants have been closed down by Wellington City Council in the past six weeks becayse of hygiene concerns, which in some cases include coakroaches in kitchens.
