The Dominion leads today with a report that National Party plans to got into the election offering a tax cut to people earning more than #$38,000 a year.
The front-page photo shows jockey Lisa McGregror with a horse. She recently injured herself in a car accident.

- a report that the prospect that Labour's Mike Moore could share the world's top trade job with Thai Deputy PM Supachai Panitchpakdi is defusing tensions at crucial trade talks which end in Auckland today;
