1. KOSOVO: NATO says all Serbian troops and soldiers have now left Yugoslavia and the bombing campaign is now officially over. President Clinton speaks about optimism at a peaceful future. "I am leaving here with real confidence."
2. KOSOVO: Russia and the US have agreed to put their bitter disagreements out of Kosovo behind them following meetings at the G8 meeting in Europe. The Russian's have agreed to start negotiating START III nuclear disarmament talks.
3. RACE RELATIONS: Tau Henare is complaining about the Race Relations Conciliator. He says the conciliator should be concentrating on the Treaty of Waitangi . Dr Rajan Prasad says his office has to address race relations problems throughout the community.
4. YACHT SEARCH: Search for yacht in South Seas called off by National rescue coordination centre;
5. DNA INQUIRY: Calls growing for widening an inquiry into DNA testing following another case in which the result has been overturned. Labour's Phil Goff says he wants a wider inquiry;
6. METROWATER: Auckland's Metrowater faces a vote this week on its continued existence as protestors step up pressure against the company.
7. ECONOMY: Continued economic recovery forecast by NZIER. 2.9% growth expected. Institute says tourism has been a star performer.
8. ACC: With little over a week to new ACC scheme Drs are worried about a bureaucratic nightmare. GPs are going to have to fill in too many forms say Drs.
9. CRICKET: Australia crush Pakistan in World Cup cricket. Shane Warne bowled for 4-33 in nine overs and Australia dismissed Pakistan for 132, before reaching the total in 20.1 overs. Pakistani captain acknowledged Australian team.
